Self-esteem grows in your lifetime, depending on your environment, and your lifestyle since your childhood.

Why self-esteem matters?

People with good self-esteem have the confidence to try new things, so they try their best, because they believe on themselves. And if they fail they will try again.

Self-esteem helps you to be good at work, in your relationships or at home.

People with low self-esteem feel insecure, don’t try to make new friends and give up easily.

You need to have a high self-esteem if you want to have some changes in your life or your work and feel good and face all the life’s challenges.

Here 3 tips to increase you self-esteem.

1. Increase your confidence through your body language

– keep an eye contact : to express your interest when someone is talking to you, and appear confident.

– keep your chin up : walk with your head up and look forward.

-slow your movements : fast movements give the impression of stress and anxiety. Take the time and breath, you will feem more confident.

2. Stop comparing yourself to others

There is an infinite number of categories upon wich we can compare ourselves. When you compare yourself to others, you compare what you see. Things always look better from the outside. You don’t know what they feel inside. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. We are all special in our ways.

3. Encourage yourself

If you don’t have a good self-esteem, you have to hack your mindset and give you a brainwashing.

So in the morning and before bed, repeat this :

“I am strong”, ” I am beautiful”, “I am capable”

And remind you, you deserve it.
