How to have a positive argument

We all have our moods, and we can easily start quarelling for trivialty.

Here some advices to not deal with a big crisis and built something constructive.

You have to follow two rules to have a positive argument :

⁃ defuse the conflict

⁃ Draw conclusions

First important advice : no ” YOU” but “I” , you will avoid to blame the other one like “you do like this, you didn’t do that…”

Say something more like “I feel this…”

And speak slowly and calmly.

This is very important to not criticize.

Say things in a positive manner. Avoid sarcasms and insults. Focus on respect and confidence. Not easy if you are angry…but so much more efficient!

Usually, during a dispute, we want to act out our emotions without thinking about what the other one feels. We forget to listen.

Once things are said, no need to bring back the same speech.

Finally, listen, understand and more important, speak, it will be your best ally.
