Finding balance is a lifetime project. Balance is a way of living. It is a process. There are so many things that we have to balance in our lives—work, family, play, leisure, relaxation, caring for others, caring for ourselves, social consciousness, political consciousness, environmental consciousness, religious beliefs and activities, physical needs …
1- Disconnect on the weekend and give your work brain a rest.
2- set goals, decide which are most important, and then, doing the most important things first.
3- Say no to everything that is either not essential or doesn’t add something valuable to your life. Be ruthless!
4- Making time for you.
Some things to try: meditate, write, sketch, do some yoga or simply sit quietly for a few minutes each day and do absolutely nothing.
Always go after your dreams, always be your best self, and always be BIG. You are your only competition, so forget what others are doing or saying, and just GET IT!
Be Awesome, be real and be authentic!
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
When you’re in control, you have options. You have options to live the life that you want.; you have confidence because you realize you have options. It’s all about having a choice, and that’s super important. You’re in control of yourself, control of your family, control of your future, and that’s very important for women because we really, actually, determine where this world goes. Because we are the backbones, we’re are the moms, and we’re the sisters that take care of the daughters, that take care of the parents, when the sons go off in a different direction. So, we’re very important to the backbone of society ~ Venus Williams
We are all capable of doing and achieving more than we think is possible. But if we don’t trust our inner strength, we may start to shy away from challenges, fail to realize our full potential, or give up on our dreams.
In the end, it comes down to whether or not we are willing to truly believe in ourselves and our abilities.
