Summer Is Coming, Think About Maxi Dresses

What is so special about a maxi dress? First thing is the versatility and flattering look. Maxi length is great for posh events, it’s great for casual gatherings, summer parties and many other events. Next thing is the flattering look, meaning any girl/lady/woman can try it on without worrying about her curves or too skinny body.

This trend has been revolutionized during the past 10 years, but it doesn’t mean they are now looking modern, contrary, they look 1970’s boho chic inspired. For many of you maxi associates with flat shoes, florals, sheer and soft fabrics, but I say change your ideology by wearing these gowns with cool brown, long boots.

Today’s styles include great fitted, loose, strapless, long sleeved oversized options made in silks, chiffon, jersey fabrics. .

Here are some of my favorites this year:

That’s a sophisticated cherry, high neck plunging back crisscross strap gown with cut-out details. Finish the look by adding rounded black sunglasses, miniature black clutch with a chain handle and black booties.

How about wearing a V-neck. This is a real sexy look for those ladies who love wearing sophisticated ensembles.  It does look impressive and sophisticated!

Speaking of black colors, then you definitely should check black colored ensembles this year.

You can cover your black dress with a cool cardigan or a poncho. Keep it laid back and very sweet.

No matter how old you are, you can wear vibrant styles in your everyday life, as well as at special occasions.

Houndstooth black and white look is both great for casual and dressy occasions. I felt in love with this maxi shirtdress.

Keep it boho and 1970’s inspired by wearing an airy look. I love seeing this kind of ensembles at the beach or in the streets of big cities.

How about wearing a pastel lime green gown. It’s an eye-catching look for those ladies who love wearing modern staples.

The blush strapless design can be updated by this classy black leather biker jacket. Update this look by wearing rounded sunglasses.

If you feeling urban yourself, then I suggest you try on this awesome street-style look, which features a gray fedora, lightweight long-sleeve maxi sweaterdress and cool peach trainers.

If you love art, then I recommend to try on this geometric pop art strapless look with red pointed-toe pumps.
